there’s a scratch star you can buy. that simulates scratching but is a safer and cold so stops the scratching xx 💞💞

Try a thinner moisturiser at bedtime, you want the skin to still be able to breathe otherwise when he gets warm it’ll the skin will suffocate and itch!

If you put the oats in a fluffy sock or something nice and soft you can used it to wash his back. It’s so nice and soft and moisturising! For dry skin

Sister I would advice not to use steroid on your child. I have been given them since birth now I withdraw from them and you get even more symptoms. I would not want this to happen to a child

my son was in hospital over his eczema, we had to put milton in his baths with emulsifying ointment and then lathered him in aqueous cream afterwards with a steroid cream!

My now 3 year old has had “eczema” since birth given creams after creams from GP.. 3 years later he’s allergy tested and is allergic to a list long of things🥺

he should prob be tested for allergies . we went to derm and they tested my boy and hes allergic to peanut and eggs and i know your boy had reaction to eggs. the 2 are very linked. hydramol is great

I really struggle with eczema. And one of my main causes of flare uo ended up being dairy. Suggest maybe trying cutting certain foods out for a week and see how he does.

I grew up with horrific eczema and honestly when he gets older putting socks on his hands will help a lot, I used to itch in my sleep and having my mum put that on my hands really helped

I struggle strongly with eczema and what I find best is drinking goats milk and if u try it try and get it from a farm or something it works well for me might not work for him but ☺️☺️

I actually do oat baths but also make a spray bottle with oat water I keep in the fridge. Very soothing and hydrating oat water mist which helps with my skin a lot.
