Try a thinner moisturiser at bedtime, you want the skin to still be able to breathe otherwise when he gets warm it’ll the skin will suffocate and itch!

If you put the oats in a fluffy sock or something nice and soft you can used it to wash his back. It’s so nice and soft and moisturising! For dry skin

Sister I would advice not to use steroid on your child. I have been given them since birth now I withdraw from them and you get even more symptoms. I would not want this to happen to a child

my son was in hospital over his eczema, we had to put milton in his baths with emulsifying ointment and then lathered him in aqueous cream afterwards with a steroid cream!

he should prob be tested for allergies . we went to derm and they tested my boy and hes allergic to peanut and eggs and i know your boy had reaction to eggs. the 2 are very linked. hydramol is great

I actually do oat baths but also make a spray bottle with oat water I keep in the fridge. Very soothing and hydrating oat water mist which helps with my skin a lot.
