Jordan, a vibrant one-year-old pitbull, is facing euthanasia for the second time due to illness. This energetic, loving boy has been overlooked for far too long, and it’s heartbreaking to think that despite multiple posts, he remains unadopted or rescued. I’ve shared Jordan’s story before, but it’s time to try again. This sweet boy first caught my attention when he entered the shelter with his brother, Michael, a golden retriever. While Michael found his forever home quickly, Jordan has been waiting patiently for over a month. Despite being kenneled with multiple dogs, Jordan has consistently shown his friendly and adaptable nature. He did great with a Belgian Malinois, who has since been adopted. His next kennel mate, a pitbull named Dodger, also got rescued. Currently, Jordan is kenneled with a German Shepherd named Chili, and the two get along wonderfully. As someone who has witnessed Jordan’s sparkle firsthand, I’ve made it my mission to visit him every time I’m at the shelter. I shower him with treats, affection, and reassurance that he is loved.
