Im sure the majority of people could care less that I’m quitting making edits, or announcing it in general, or I’m sure many people don’t even know of this account, but I would like to say how grateful I am for the support and love shared to what I’ve made. I remember it started back in 2022 where I discovered editing software because I wanted to show my friend a compiled Timelapse of a drawing I was doing, then I tried doing a little 2000s nostalgia edit (my first post!) and decided to try to make something out of it just as another hobby I could do during my free time. Flash forward 2 more years and I have reached over 25 thousand plus followers! That’s like a really crazy achievement when I think about it. Editing when you think about is another form of art, it shows the best in film, and other forms of fiction that have been made by many talented people. I loved making edits, but I knew I wasn’t going to do it forever. Now I’m sure you may be wondering why I’m quitting in the first place, and it’s not because I hate posting and earning barely 100 likes, it’s because I’m growing up, and I have bigger things ahead of me. And with these new possibilities that I have I don’t think I want to spend my time editing movies or video games anymore, although I had a blast seeing them come together overtime and collaborating with many other talented editors, I have other talents and hobbies I would like to grow and make something out of. I won’t let myself grow 40 and look at what I used to do and only say “I used to do that”. But I’m going off track here. And for the people that may be asking “Post them on instagram before TikTok is banned!”, I don’t want to be stubborn, but I won’t, with all the edits I’ve thrown on here? Why would I go ahead and do all of it again on instagram? I want you all to know my deep appreciation for your love and support, I had fun with the journey. Editing is not a hard hobby, because anyone can do it, same goes for other hobbies. And if you want to accomplish things that you could only dream of, then you need to get up to do it yourself, theirs potential in each and everyone of you, you just need to see it for yourself. I’ve shown myself what I can do if I do it enough and practiced enough, and I feel really proud of myself that I tried something new. When I think about it now, it was a test to see if I try enough, and put into practice what I wanted to achieve, I could do it. This is probably cheesy beyond comprehension but I hope maybe just one of you learn a little something from what I’ve said. If you have read this far, thank you for your time.
