@iamdanielauribe: Understanding the ways of selling your brand is very important. For your business, your budget and your strategy. I made a lot of mistakes and wasted a lot of money not understanding well the different concepts so now I want to make sure you dont do the same. 1. Trade shows: they work NOT for everyone. If your brand retail price will be in the lower range, fast fashion, mid-market then i thin tradeshows work for you. But research the right tradeshow for your product not all tradeshows will work. If your market is prenium or luxury I wouldn’t bother with tradeshows maybe only one or two but honestly for a higher price point showroom agents work much better. 2. Showrooms: there are different types so make sure before you sign with a showroom you see the brands they carry, you vist them phisically and you are comfortable with their presentation. Showroom agents tend to have an exhibition fee and commision so take that into account. 3. In house sales: i recommend this only if you are stablished now in wholesale or you have created a relationship with buyers alreaady. Otherwise you will have to do a lot of chasing and hire a pr to help organize your show or presentation.
