It doesn’t work with every front. At least the shortcuts for „bold“ etc. „Underline“ should work all the time. This also works in inDesign.

Of course you can use the Character and Paragraph Styles but if you are on the fly and just want to make something bold…this is a pretty cool option. 🤙
