I forget that shoes staying on is very common in the USA 😅 Its such a standard to take shoes off in Canada, its seen as rude to NOT take them off at the door.

I ALWAYS ASK MY FRIENDS "is this a shoe off or shoe on house " but I'm always mid shoe removal to help them feel comfy enough to ask me to remove my shoes
