@edwardsfarmstead: Yesterday I shared the sweetest Robin Egg Cake for my grandma’s birthday (go back one post to see❤️)…so today I’m sharing how to make the cute little birds nest cake topper! If you would like the full recipe for the cake comment SPRING to get on our waitlist for our Spring e-book! The Robin Egg Cake & birds nest recipe I used will be included! It would be the perfect cake for Easter! To make the birds nest, you will need the following: 1 cup Chow Mein Noodles 1/3 cup chocolate chips 1/3 cup butterscotch chips 1 heaping tablespoon peanut butter @Cadbury USA milk chocolate eggs In a microwave safe mixing bowl, add chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and peanut butter. Heat in microwave for 1 min. Stir until smooth (add more time if needed). Immediately add in chow mein noodles. Turn mixture out onto parchment paper and use a separate piece of parchment or ziplock bag to form into neat shape, forming a small well in the top for eggs. Add the eggs as desired and allow the chocolate nest to set up before adding to the cake. You can put in the fridge to help speed the process if needed! Add the nest to the top of your cake and enjoy! 🪺 Happy Baking, friends!
