whenever people ask me my race or ethnicity I just telI them I’m mixed with black and white. I look neither. I look Hispanic or Puerto Rican every day I get asked if I know Spanish.

I only say I’m black when I’m with my family because I was only raised with my mom and her family. However with others I just say mixed cause I look white or Arab.

this is so interesting to me. I'm 50/50 in my ethnicity in NZ. I absolutely claim both, but my essence is in my native heritage. All my children speak our native tongue. Its about culture, not colour
