GOE gone will take anything off the floor as far as the adhesive residue. It works wonders!!

Girl I would use underlayment. The really cheap one. Just staple it to the corners. It’ll come up super easy

I did this in my military barracks and loved it!! I ended up using a hair dryer to help loosen the glue but it didn’t ruin the floor!

if they did a bad paint job on the walls any peel and stick will lift the paint. if the paint job is done proper, no issues
