@whealth_: How many of these resonate with you? Message "bendy" and we will send you our free Hypermobility resources to help you learn more about connective tissue disorders and what to do if you have them. Are you hypermobile? Ever been referred to as "double-jointed"? Always been able to do weird things with your body? Also, struggle with chronic pain? Did you know they may all be connected? Tag your bendy friends! To be clear, you can have all of these things and NOT be hypermobile. You can also be hypermobile and NOT have pain or issues associated with it. Hypermobility is a spectrum and while some folks are just a little bendy others can have significant issues as a result. On one end of the spectrum is hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which we both have. Ironically, because it's referred to as being "rare". (It's not really that rare. It's underdiagnosed) Hypermobile EDS is a genetic connective tissue disorder that impacts the connective tissue in the body. This means that it spans much broader than just bendy joints. There are other conditions which occur frequently in those EDS and HSD like dysautonomia, mast cell activation syndrome, neurodiversity, etc. It's not uncommon for an adult to be diagnosed after a decade of struggling (on average) so it definitely needs more awareness! We also have an online hypermobility program that walks you through your own body head to toe to safely strengthen, improve proprioception, and teach you how to choose lifestyle modifications that will help you feel and function better. #hypermobility #hypermobile #ehlersdanlos #dysautonomia #pots #adhd #neurodiversity #sibo #mcas #hsd #hypermobileehlersdanlossyndrome #hyperflexible

Do you guys ever get muscle twitching/“spasming”? Can that be part of hypermobility?

I don't there are any EDS patients who sit on a chair normally. They could probably use this as a diagnostic tool!
