My kid has never seen a screen, all food is home cooked at the table. She tantrums about any little thing when she is over tired or had a bad day. Temprement is a key factor.

A lot of tantrums are children not being able to communicate effectively and getting frustrated. Sign language is great for this.

This is great, I did hear a adult explain she was deprived of sugar, tv, etc all childhood so now she over uses it all. Balance is key, as they get little older.

I babysit a lot of 2 year olds, whispering as if im about to tell them a secret and negotiate w them works from stopping them from going crazy.. they even whisper back, adorable.

Just be aware that by not introducing sugar and helping them understand moderation it can lead to over indulgence in later years when they're unmonitored

my 2 year old watches tv (i took the ipad and phone away so she never asks for it) but she never gets mad if it goes off. she had a tantrum this morning cos i put a spoon in her yoghurt for her 😂

My mum restricted my sugar intake and wouldn’t let me eat sugar now I have an ED baised on sugar and heavy resentment for the restriction 😶
