I’d try all of it, I’d mostly be worried how I’d react to the texture. I’m not picky flavor wise but texture can put me off instantly 😭

I would devour all of these. I pride myself on trying something odd foods. Personal fav was eating a fish eye in japan last summer 😋

I would definitely try all three but the squid texture looks horrible. It looks snotty but I think it would be fine over rice.

first one sounds really interesting, I tend to crave fermented/acidic foods and have recently acquired a taste for more fishy flavors. would love to try it with the hot rice and sake like you said!

I tried Shirokara in Japan. I usually love squid but I think it kind of tasted like olives in this case and I really hate olives. My problem with eating it whole though was the brain popping into my mouth, it just threw me off. I’m also super afraid on prions diseases so I’m scared of eating any brains
