My midwife told me 6 week bleed is pretty common (where you’ve already stopped bleeding for 1-3 weeks then at 6 weeks it starts again) but that doesn’t necessarily mean your periods back it might not

I had stopped bleeding at 3 1/2 weeks. And then bled for a day or two around 6 wks, it was just a final of my body clearing out. Didn’t get my period back until 6 mo postpartum. Then got prego 8 mo

When I had 2 out of my 5 kids I started my cycle after 3-3.5 weeks then again a week later. It’s your hormones readjusting your cycle might be off also due to breast-feeding.

I only bled for a few days after giving birth, I’d say maybe 4 days total & not even that bad & I got my first cycle 6 weeks after giving birth & every 28 days after that.
