I’m sure you couldn’t tell what the problem is unless you could hear and see it but my 2018 Chevy traverse when you start the engine up you can hear some like rattling noise and sometimes it stops

Patch it up , be fine . :
Crankshaft should NEVER crack . Should be warranty no matter the age. Skuff yes . Wear yes . Pick up yes . But not crack !!!
