There is a no tipping policy- except for Butler and Spa. They don’t advertise the photo package is free- it’s the free photo session. Scuba IS included if you are PADI certified. Snorkeling IS also included and not additional.

Getting certified to scuba dive is not included in the cost of your stay but once certified then diving is included.

Barbados is the exception to tipping due to their government. Employees can get fired elsewhere if soliciting or excepting tips. Seen it happen. Also, Scuba Is included unless you need to get…

There is a no tipping policy for sure. I’ve been to over 50 sandals stays and seen multiple employees be fired for accepting tips.

In about 20 Sandals trips, I have never tipped aside from spa and butler. Your other “hidden” fees seem pretty standard for AI resorts. I didn’t love Barbados Sandals either. ✨

Barbados labour laws prohibits the no tipping policy. So it’s not a sandals issue it’s a labour law issue

Sandals Royal Caribbean staff absolutely would NOT take our money when we offered tips. They were all incredible...we wanted to tip them so bad!

its not that hidden once you do research… certain sandals it depends on what you are also looking for. In all honesty if you have done research none of it is actually hidden. all water sports are included and scuba diving is included unless you arent certified!

There is very much a no tipping policy. At over 170 nights I’ve yet to tip and I scuba dive for free. I like that you share about room service- that’s confusing for people!
