This one’s for all the girls who were told they couldn’t, that were told it’s a “boys club” or that were mislabelled (the amount of times people have called my boyfriend the photographer, despite me being the one with the camera in my hand lol) Time and time again I see women with big accounts automatically labelled as “influencers” where men would be labelled as “photographers” or “film makers” It happens everywhere, in my previous career as a head of product in biotechnology it could be so hard to be taken seriously as a young female and I’d be mistaken for an assistant or intern So here’s to you, the women who refuse to be put in second place - you’re all amazing ❤️ #womensday #internationalwomensday #sonyalphafemale #sonyalpha #femalephotographer #womenphographers
