My guess? Dead, from exterminations, gang wars or just plain murder, or is forced to stay. That one guy freaked the hell out when Angel was at the hotel, I'd imagine there are those who wouldn't (1/2)

my guess is it would have been too big of a cast with how short the season was. if we had 16 or 24 episodes like cartoons used to be then we would have gotten a bigger main cast.

I think it's probably because it's only 8 episodes and the episodes are short so they had to really focus on just some of the characters. also husk hints that Angel wants to get into heaven

I hc the in universe problem with the hotel is that it's in the pride ring, with people not wanting to admit they need help. out of universe tho it totally is just a poorly thought out plot point

honestly i think it's because of the overlords! theres there's lot of them and they collectively own a LOT of souls. if your soul is owned its probably a lot harder to get to the hotel/be redeemed

I think it’s because no one wants help from a privileged princess tgat doesn’t have proof that the hotel works. That and I think most people at least somewhat enjoy the lawlessness
