Yup, SAVE this recipe to make the real deal at home! ➡️ Recipe: Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings * 2 lbs of chicken wingette’s and drumette’s * Peanut oil or any frying oil you prefer Batter/marinade— * 1 tsp baking powder * 1 tsp garlic powder * 1/2 tsp ground white pepper * 1/2 tsp onion powder * 1/2 tsp kosher salt * 2 tbsp shaoxing cooking wine * 1/2 cup water * 1 cup all-purpose flour * 1/2 cup cornstarch Salt & pepper Seasoning— 1 part kosher salt to 2 parts granulated sugar And 1/2 part coarse ground black pepper Make as much as you need for the seasoning! OR * 1 tsp salt * 1/2 tsp ground black pepper * 2 tsp sugar * Jalapeños, sliced (Optional) * Onions, cut into bite sized pieces 1. Combine all the batter ingredients together with the chicken wings and mix well until it forms a thick paste. Marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight, if possible. 2. Heat up oil in large pot to 350F. Fry wings for 11-14 mins depending on size of your wings. 3. Drain the wings in a paper towel lined colander. 4. Immediately heat large pan on high heat. If adding in jalapeños (and onions) use a little bit of oil to stir fry jalapeños. Toss in fried wings and add as much salt and pepper seasoning mix into pan as you need and toss until wings are even coated. 5.
