wait can't you guys just call the water company and say that the water pressure is to high here in eu had a problem with pressure all i did was call the up and ask the to lower it ( it was 2bar over)

I’m in SA too and got a PRV installed just like this when I purchased my home. Any reason why there’s a shut off just prior to the PRV when the main shut off is also at the meter?

Why not install it after the house shut off valve right in front of the house before the pipe enters the house
