Went through 2 tankless heaters in 8 years. Decided to check pressure myself, it was 120. Installer never checked.

Should have been installed at the incoming line at house not at the meter. IMO

I’m in SA too and got a PRV installed just like this when I purchased my home. Any reason why there’s a shut off just prior to the PRV when the main shut off is also at the meter?

Why not install it after the house shut off valve right in front of the house before the pipe enters the house
