This is the default (Asl) rule! Idghaam (إدغام) — Merging When followed by the letters (يرملون), the Noon merges into the next letter. It comes in two types: With Ghunnah, for (ي و م ن), partial or complete merging with nasal elongation. Without Ghunnah, for (ل ر), complete merging where the Noon disappears entirely. Iqlaab/Qalb (إقلاب) — Conversion When followed by the letter Baa (ب), the Noon converts into a hidden Meem sound with a complete Ghunnah elongation. Ikhfaa (إخفاء) — Concealment When followed by the remaining 15 letters (ت ث ج د ذ ز س ش ص ض ط ظ ف ق ك), the Noon is concealed — held between Izhaar and Idghaam, with only the Ghunnah retained and elongated.
