Steak Salad Sundays Part 11 🥩🥗 Salad Recipe: * 2 cups chopped romaine * handful of cherry tomatoes, halved * toasted bread crumbs * sliced steak * Caesar dressing * salt and pepper to taste * a few spoonfuls of parmesan cheese Dressing: * 1/2 cup mayo * 1/4 cup grated parm * 3 cloves minced garlic * 1 tbsp lemon juice * 1/2 tsp salt * 1/2 tsp pepper * 1 tbsp dijon musty * A few dashes of Worcestershire (NOTE-many Worcestershire sauces DO contain anchovy so if you have an allergy please make sure to buy a vegan one) * 2-4 tbsp olive oil (depending on consistency you like) * Add all ingredients except for olive oil to a bowl and whisk until smooth. Add in olive oil 1 tbsp at a time while whisking. Steak (rib eye) * Pat dry and coat in a little bit of olive oil. Coat each side generously in kosher salt, black pepper, and any other seasonings you like. * Preheat grill to get it nice and hot (set to high heat, you want it around 450-500 degrees) * Place your rib eye directly on the grill, close cover, and let cook about 2-3 minutes. * Flip the steak using some tongs, close cover, and let cook another 2-3 minutes or so. Repeat until your meat thermometer reads 125-130 internal temp (med rare). * Grill cook times will vary depending on size of steak, so adjust accordingly. Total cook time for this steak was about 8 minutes. * After you remove from the grill, cover and let rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing. Toasted Bread Crumbs: * Heat up 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a pan over medium low heat * Add in 1 cup of bread crumbs. Season with some salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir so they are well coated and then spread out in an even layer on pan. * Let cook for a minute or two before stirring to let them start to brown on one side. Once they start to cook, you are going to want to stir frequently so they do not burn. Once they start to brown, they start to brown very quickly so be sure to keep an eye on them. * Total cook time should be around 5 minutes. * Remove from heat once they are nice and toasty. #steaksaladsundays #steaksalad #steakcaesar #steakcaesarsalad #caesarsalad #steak #dinner #DinnerIdeas #easydinnerideas #dinnerinspo #dinnerrecipe #dinnertime
