I would say keep the top and then you could use it for additional storage, but just don’t have stairs to go up to it for the kids and you could put some kind of sail covering or some thing to block

Yes! Get the house! Keep the top as like a second floor boat house balcony. Remove the stairs. And add decorations up there for the holidays. Maybe some brown mats coming out from the door way.

The vision is so there imagine making like cute scenes on top for the seasons. Little fake trees and such. I think the kids would miss the slide for a few weeks and then get past it.
