Got an oil pan leak, needs 1.5 quarts every 1500 so I just change it out every 3k until I have a reason to pull the engine or drop the steering rack

Worked at a fleet that had a dozen of GMT800 and would only run 15W-40 (in Ohio) and it's was guaranteed 120k-130k a new oil pump.

i got a 4.3 vorec v6 175k miles. leaks oil (no surprise). I've always ran 5w30. can i run 10w30 to see if it helps with leaks?

Just drop the diff on the 4x4 and the rest is a cake walk it’s actually a pretty easy repair

I have an oil leak on my 5.3. It’s just a few drops on the ground when it’s parked. I’ve looking around underneath and can’t seem to locate it. I’ve checked all the obvious places. Any ideas?
