@thuleanexplorer: Făget, Alba County. As you barely enter the village you can see that it’s full of abandoned houses, some of them still resembling their former beauty. This village is one of the many examples of depopulation in rural Romania. You can see the traces of the old households everywhere and the population is down to just 18 people most of them past the age of 70. The people i met there were very polite and generous and they know how to brighten your day with their stories and the history surrounding the place.
