I'm having the same issues on my 85 ElCamino. Everything works except the speed and rpm. Swapped 305 and 3sp for a 350 and 700r.

all you had to do is use the factory Toyota sensors on the ford engine for the gauges to work. I swapped a 2000 gm 3.8 l67 into a 88 Mitsubishi all gauges work
