When my kids were small I taught lower elementary (now they’re teens and I teach middle school). I would get a bit touched out sometimes but honestly it was fine. Working school hours is great.

I teach full time and have a 4 year old and a 1.5 year old. A couple weekends ago, my weekend consisted of taking care of my kids while having violent food poisoning. Then back to work on Monday. 🫠

because teaching is our job. our kids are our family. you separate the 2 and have boundaries with your “job.” i love my students but they aren’t my life my real kids are. you learn.

I have two kids and have also done nothing today haha. My kids have colored and played with dinosaurs while I read on the couch. My husband made a brunch for us now we're watching young Sheldon.

I have 4 kids at home and they love that my teacher mindset comes home with me and we find learning experiences in everything we do. Sunday afternoon -teaching them budgeting at the grocery store.

Teacher for 8 years (stayed at home for 2). I have a 5 year old, 3 year old and 1 year old. 😅 oh. And my husband works nights. Honestly, teaching 4th grade keeps me sane. But it’s ROUGH some days. 😅

I didn’t work when my kids were little (under 5) which was such a privilege. I also trained my kids to be pretty independent from a young age and also to appreciate doing nothing!

Dropped to 3 days - job sharing a class. The BEST thing I ever did as a mum. I get to enjoy teaching and still have energy and time for my 3 kids 👌🏼
