I lived in a neighborhood in Detroit that used to be just off a streetcar line. Old storefronts did fine with foot traffic. My barber still was there and had seen good days before the line closed

Yes this! Our town is changing. On one hand, seasonally shutting down entire streets for little restaurants, adding bike paths bc we have many schools, but also installing a truck stop very nearby?
