@devinfitofficial: Some Tough Love This Monday 🗣️. Listen fam, if you over indulged in food & alcohol this weekend I’m here to let you know that it’s not the end of the world. The easiest way to create a bad relationship with food & exercise is to punish yourself in the gym & kitchen for the bad decisions that you’ve made in the past. When in reality it’s just you overreacting because you don’t fully understand what’s happening with your body. You think that you’ve gained body fat because the scale went up, when in reality it’s probably just water retention, inflammation, & digestion. One pound of fat has a total of 3500 calories which means you would have to eat your maintenance calories + 3500 to gain one pound of body fat. There really absolutely no need to overreact.✅ All you really have to do is fall back into your normal nutrition & training regimen, & everything will eventually go back to normal, if what you’ve been doing have produced results in the past. However, if your not following the right guidelines of what you should be doing to see results, then If you consistently have days that you over eat you actually will gain body fat over time. I want to encourage to end the cycle of having a bad relationship with food & exercise. It will only cause you to be in an endless cycle of losing weight and gaining weight.
