@cookingwithnisaa: Day one of the ramadan recipes series! Im excited to share recipes with you guys. Enjoy this yemeni honeycomb bread Ingredients: 1 cup of warm milk 1 tbslp of yeast 1 tblsp sugar 3 cups of flour 1/3 cup of melted butter 1/2 block of cream cheese - cubed 1 egg for eggwash spinkle of kalonji seeds 1/2 cup of condensed milk to drizzle 2 tbslp of honey to drizzle method: Begin by combining milk, yeast and sugar in a bowl, whisk until well combined Add in the flour 1 cup at a time, as well as the melted butter Combine everything in the bowl, then kneed the dough into the shape of a ball, then place into the bowl, drizzle a bit of oil on top and cover. Allow to rise for 40 mins Once the dough has risen, punch to release air, and roll out the dough Seperate the dough in two peices, set aside one peice, and continue rolling out the left over dough until fully stretched out Grab a cookie shaper in the shape of a circle, if you dont have one, grab a container or a jar with a small sphere shape to cut out the dough peices Set the circle peices of dough on a plate, add a tsp of cream cheese to the center of each peice of dough Roll the dough into a ball and place on the baking tray, continue that until the tray is full Top with egg wash and kalonji seeds Bake for 20-25 mins, until golden brown Once removed from the oven, drizzle with condensed milk and honey when warm Serve and enjoy! #somalitiktok #fyp #foryou #cookingtiktok #fypシ゚viral #xyzbca #cookingvlog #toronto #ramadanrecipes
