@rachelledurranthostmom: Nicole learned what it was like to be a single mom this weekend. She’s taking a child development class and as part of that, she got to bring a baby home for the weekend. We all helped as we could, but she wore a band on her wrist that has to be scanned each time the baby was fed, burped, rocked, and changed, so she was really the only one who could fully take care of it because she couldn’t remove the band. On top of caring for her baby, she got strep throat this weekend, so it was an exhausting, miserable few days with being sick and being up at night with a baby. I’m so proud of how she handled it all.
