I can attest to Mazda paint being subpar. 💀 My 2017 3 in red is full of stone chips and is SO easy to scratch. Hard to colour match too.

From my experience most 2012 & onwards petrol Mazdas run very well for a long time, just take care of them and they’ll care for you. The diesel Mazdas can be ok but I’d still stay away, they only- (1)

I've got one. build quality is far better than equivalent aussie alternatives I've had. it is lacking in the power dept though. perfect commuter

I’ve the top of range 2013. 2.0 Petrol only just nudged 100km great car. Had the diesel from new same car ( wife’s car) awful! Reliability wise.
