So. In sweden, every time you make a connection inside a wall you need an inspection door. If we were to do it like that we could just skip the drywall all together 😂

I never reattach to old pex like that it doesn’t have the same elasticity it once did that’s an floor waiting to happen an shark bite fitting just for these specific scenarios

only gripe I'd have is instead of notching out the wood and drilling a hole like that, use iso inserts to keep the PEX away from the wood that way it doesn't rub a home when the water cuts off and on
