Actually this?is?a very good idea .it also solves many issues with damp walls corners and can also be connected to heat source pumps. I like it 👍

2nd time asking ... If I'm having new carpets, which should go down first ? Carpet guys might damage the skirting but plumber (or me) might leak water on to new carpet

It’s missing the radiator airflow + convection capabilities you’re trying to mimic with this solution, it’ll never be efficient. Underfloor heating works on conduction basis, this solution has neither
