we had the surgery with our boxer. the post op care was miserable. My husband had to carry him everywhere.he tore his other leg about 2 years later that we never repaired.

I’ve had two dogs with knee issues (one with torn ACL) and we had HUGE success with short term prednisone. Surgery for a young dog can be rough! But do what’s best for your baby of course 💘💘💘
