The #mbandf Horological Machine No. 10 is inspired by a bulldog (yes, a dog) and features a rounded, stocky body, while the time display forms its eyes and the stout legs form the lugs, hugging its owner fiercely and loyally. And it doesn’t end here: there are even the jaws with teeth that open and shut according to the amount of tension in the mainspring and which are visible from the front side. I also love the signature flying balance wheel, a full 14 mm in diameter, symbolizing the dog’s brain. Finally, in staying with the canine theme, there’s even an engraving on the back saying “forget the dog beware the owner,” which says it all for me.
