@mr_hamlets: Families in Tower Hamlets are being given a helping hand during the cost of living crisis with £2million worth of supermarket vouchers being distributed by Tower Hamlets Council. Funded by the Government’s Household Support Fund, the council has chosen to give out £100 supermarket vouchers to families who are eligible for free school meals through schools in the borough. The vouchers can be spent at Asda or Tesco and will be handed out to parents from schools during March. There is no need to apply as families will be contacted directly.
