I have cold urticaria MCAS.. if my skin gets too cold I'll get hives and start to go into anaphylaxis. Luckily it's well controlled with Zyrtec.

Gosh. 🥺 I have systemic mastocytosis (a rare form of mcas) and I feel very lucky with my symptoms. Mine are cardio, gi, and skin related but mostly controlled by h1 & h2 histamine blockers. 🫂

when you say day to day symptoms, do you mean the oatmeal with amino acids gives that reaction? Really curious if you eat something else sometimes even though there's the risks.

I had this happen when I was in Cuba. I went to visit my brother and I have lots of allergies anyway, but I got so many mosquito bites that I had a mast call activation.
