I’ve had to go with a steroid shot for a bad reaction to poison ivy where the pills didn’t touch the rash. Had to push for it but it worked fast!

Same happened with me, derm told me I have eczema and gave me prednisone, I’m also diabetic so it ran my sugars really high! As soon as I finished my prednisone it all flared up again!

I had something similar happen to me last year. I was on prendisone for 10 weeks I started at 50 mg and we tapered each week. I think you need more prendisone
