@blossomandbranchfarm: Anyone else just… tired? Yeah, me too. What we do as market farmers might look idyllic on instagram but in reality it is backbreaking and exhausting work. I’m grateful to be outside and more than happy that I quit my office job to do it—because it’s my passion—but I think we are all feeling the drain of the rush of our modern society these days. The grass can often be greener on the other side though, and days like today where we are supposed to get 2’ of snow and I need to clean out the sheep barn, get everyone fresh water and keep it from freezing, protect our young crops and keep everyone fed makes me miss the comfort of that warm dry office a bit.
