maybe time does reverse but that would mean the neural connections in our brains would reverse as well. meaning even if it does we won't remember it at all.

if I'm in Australia at 2pm and ring a friend in Sweden and it's 4am and talk at the same time then that says time doesn't exist at all, the only time is the present

Time and space is relative to energy. It’s not a constant so it can’t be used accurately when calculating energy, and well since everything’s energy, you get the picture.

As a physicist, I would argue the opposite - time defines the 2nd law of thermodynamics. Entropy > 0 is a result of time moving forward.
