Former Nail tech here! Get them removed and ask for a basic gel polish manicure on natural nails! You can still have nice nails but super practical!

Girl dw💜 they will file them shorter and a bit on top to redo the gel and they will look amazing shorter. Just ask to make em shorter and same shape 💜🌺

They can either take them off (soaked in acetone will do the least damage) and then a better optiom for fun nails but short is getting BIAB! Its just over your natural nail, no extensions but also

I did manual labor and working in an office both with medium/long nails- you definitely get used to it. BUT your nails are going to be not as healthy, they can make them shorter without taking themoff

you can do short almond and get a fail OR get them taken off & if you feel your nails are too brittle once they’re off you can get Gel or Dip 1/2

They will soak them! It’s the best way to get them off. And yes they could absolutely just do short nails. Maybe try that and if you don’t like it, soak them off!

You can definitely ask them to make them shorter! Either that, or theyll soak them off. Your real nails will probably be really weak for a little while though.
