Filing for disability is a long process but get a lawyer! Mine doesn't get paid unless I am approved.

The software industry has its problems, but a remote job in that field is very often pretty forgiving! Accommodations can also be easier to get there

look into becoming a mobile public notary for mortgage signing. there's a national shortage and it pays well. there's nothing physical about it either! this is a great opportunity for anyone really!

I work in marketing. Though we are a hybrid office company I’ve been able to get accommodation to flexibly work from home as needed due to my chronic illness. I work/rest as needed

Usually I work for a place for maybe a month and then ask for accommodations. I don’t ever say it outright bc they won’t hire on purpose even though most jobs claim to be non discriminatory

I work at an escape room experience so I spend most of my time sitting and watching people solve puzzles, giving them hints as needed. I can be as comfy as I need to be during their 60 minute runs.

I've found public libraries can be forgiving with people with disability, chronic and mental illnesses. Probably not full time but at least you could be working. I'd call your local libraries

I'm a copywriter. As long as everything gets submitted on time, I am free to work on things at my own pace and at odd hours. They also encourage me to use AI to help when the workload gets to be a lot

Is there anything you can turn into self employment? Being able to work at your own pace is literally the best thing for it. Anything you can turn into a job that won’t require so much computer time?

Have you tried special screen covers for the computer? Or glare reflective glasses? I suffer from migraines as well and I’m an office assistant on a computer all day.
