I keep reminding myself that this to shall pass. Plus I have a good hubby to help when he can. But also give yourself grace and work in the gray. 🥰

You have to take it day by day and it gets better as they get older.

We are all barely getting by. I don’t know how any moms survive for 18 years. They used to have villages and extended family close by in past generations. We were never made to do all of this.

There is no secret unfortunately. You have to schedule time away to yourself if you have family or friends that can help. I lived in burn out mode for so long I am just now trying to readjust💜

Hubby helps a lot, pick up kids, take them to doctor, cook dinner. also, my drive is 45 min to and from work. That is my alone time.

You have to give up things to not die. Between a crying toddler, dishes and my evening run. Dishes don't get done. I have a house cleaner come twice a month.

Burning out is a sign you need a support system. BFF? Parent? After school care? Maybe take turns with another parent for an afternoon/evening (get a massage? Go to a movie?)
