INGREDIENTS For the Pasta: • 1 pound (600g) bucatini pasta For the Ground Beef Sauce: • 7 tbsp extra virgin olive oil • 1 pound (500g) ground beef • 2 onions, blended • 3 garlic cloves, blended • 3 tomatoes, blended • 1/3 cup (80ml) tomato juice • 1/3 cup (80ml) white wine • 1 bay leaf • 1 cinnamon stick • Salt and pepper to taste For the Béchamel Sauce: • 50 oz (1,5 liter) milk • 6 tbsp cornstarch (cornflour) • 2 tbsp butter • ½ tsp ground nutmeg • Salt and pepper to taste • 1,5 cup (300g) cheese, grated (e.g., Kefalotyri, Parmesan) • 3 egg yolks INSTRUCTIONS Prepare the Pasta: • Boil the bucatini pasta in salted water until al dente.
