@halfbakedbarelymeasured: Can you guess how many strawberry bare root plants I just purchase?! I LOVE strawberries and last year I started a smal patch with about 25 runners from a FB marketplace. This year I ordered 100 bare roots (4 varieties) of strawberries from Indiana Berry. I also ordered more blueberries 4 bushes, 25 Asparagus roots and 9 more raspberry bushes! We looove drinking fizzy bubblies and having a soda stream means we just have to create new syrups/shrub mixers and we have endless delicous drinks! The kids even make them for school now! Beyond the vegetable garden, this year I am really focused on setting up the food forest, berries and fruit orchards, vining fruits and all of my herbal deliciousness… its a lot of work and I am mainly working only to buy plants right now.
