Funny your claim. I've seen many decks 20 years old doing perfectly fine. I think I'll side with the other contractors and save the up charge.

Theoretically the decking will stop it from doing that theoretically but also you don’t need blocking at the beam if you have a 14ft deck you will need it at 7ft but you can also strap the bottom it

Hurricane clips work just as well. Blocking might be cheaper, Been a while since I build a deck.

No amount of bracing is going to keep wood from moving due to moisture loss, those forces are immense.

You should Specify PVC decking at the beginning of your video some people still use wood which doesn’t require that extra blocking

Pressure blocks add sooo much strength to framing. We never build a deck without blocking. Small or big. We build decks to the quality of cabinets. Straight, true.
