A few years ago I made one of best friends at work and we are still close friend even though we don't work together anymore. Loads of good points here, but don't be a robot...be a human at work.

yes they are colleagues not friends becoz i noticed when iam there they pretend to be good but when iam away they talk about me and some of them come and tell me.

people are nice to your face, then talk behind your back. I've made it clear to my work colleagues that they are not friends. they hated it 😂

I’ve made good friends that lasted after we’ve both left jobs over years- you may build relationships with people over time but it’s often not the default.
