me and my stepdad had rollers in 3 areas of the lowering device and we set up our above ground sealer only when requested by family or funeral home

My dad said in 78 they had a grave cave in due to rain. Luckily the family left. But he said the corner gave way even with boards. When the casket dropped it hit a casket they didn't know was there.
