That paper is from my hometown. A lot of those warnings are written bc we are a town of 5k and supposed to get 200k tourists. We have one real grocery store & 1 lane roads so residents ab influx.

Have you seen the Upside down crescent moon lately? Past 3 months? What planet is eclipsing it now and for the past 3 months? Even on weather map on your phones Do not have this crescent on there.🌙

I think it’s because it’s such a rare type of eclipse so there’s going to be a lot of people traveling from all over the country, to one strip of land probably? A lot of people in one spot

This is what happened with the big eclipse in Idaho. We had so many people from other states and countries come for the event. We had the same warnings, because of the prep it was a great event!

We had a solar eclipse a few years back and our town had a half million visitors for a town of 50,000. They start coming in a up to a week before. NASA showed up.

Our school is out bc of safety. It’s during bus release so they can’t make sure the kids aren’t looking or taking off glasses.

well duh because if 100,000 people are showing up to one spot all the hotels will be full and traffic. imagine the grocery stores with all the people who are wanting to buy food there or even eat out

I remember it being a big school event. We would make our box to look through, to see the eclipse. We would be excited for that day at school being outside on the field. Very strange to close schools.

Broken Bow is an hour for me and our county isn't doing anything. My husband works for the Sheriff's office and he's heard nothing. All our hotels are booked. That's it.

Our school’s are closed and they’ve told everyone not to go to doctor appts if they are scheduled. Told us to stock up, have gas in car, and expect communication outages.

I'm along the path in TX and they've told us to stock up on food and water for 2 weeks as well. I don't remember this prep for any other eclipse in my 43 years.
