not just tongue but every piercing if you put rel gold piercing in it for a year or two even if you leave it for a month it won't close

I think it depends on how well it’s healed/if it’s fully healed. I hadn’t had my septum in for at least a month but put it in yesterday no problem

the tongue heals stupidly fast. people who get their tongue entirely split have to physically seperate their tongue because it literally seals up within days
